Chef Devon Quinn is the Chef and Partner of eden, a contemporary restaurant in Chicago's Avondale neighborhood, specializing in new American cuisine emphasizing simplicity and clean flavors.
Devon's culinary journey is a testament to his unwavering passion and dedication. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hope College and formal culinary training from Le Cordon Bleu, his innate talent and relentless work ethic have cultivated his culinary experience. Devon has worked with esteemed chefs such as Jean-Michel Diot, Dale Levitski, Terry Crandall, Andrew Zimmerman, and Tony Mantuano. In 2012, Devon became the Executive Chef at Paramount Events, leveraging his expertise to elevate the company into one of Chicago's premier catering firms. In 2017, he assumed the role of Chief Culinary Officer at The Paramount Group, where he continues to steer the culinary vision for Paramount Events and several other ventures.
Devon co-founded Eden in 2016 with his wife, Jodi Fyfe, CEO and Founder of The Paramount Group. His philosophy of seasonally focused cuisine informs a continuously changing menu that showcases locally sourced ingredients and produce, including items from the restaurant's on-site greenhouse, where Devon cultivates over 50 varieties of herbs, edible flowers, and petite produce.
Beyond his culinary pursuits, Devon actively champions local farmers and the Midwest agricultural community. He engages with various nonprofit organizations and participates in chef-centric events for a cause. Additionally, he enjoys weekly visits to Green City Market, traveling with his family, and discovering global cuisine and ingredients wherever they go.
